I totally agree. Chivalry is dead. I don't remember the last time a guy opened the door for me, or pulled out a chair for me. Equality is all very well, but there's something that must be said for good manners.
I could not resist. I wonder why we confuse genderless with sexless, they arent they same. As for the society 'disintegrating' into a an Ayn Rand world- not happening either. we're still a bunch of tribes as someone said on the TED talks recently, perhaps the boundaries are changing.
As for me, I'd love for a woman to open the door for me too- I mean why not, saves me the effort. :o)
